Every month we release events and discussions that our members can participate in to earn House Points and Galleons. Here are January's Events and Discussions:
A Hogwarts Experience (AHE) is a "create your own roleplay" forum community. This means you are permitted to create roleplays anywhere on the forum. Please adhere to the following rules when posting roleplays:
RULES
1. ALL RP posts must remain PG-13. No use of extremely sexual, graphic or violent materials. 2. We have a 0 harassment policy at AHE. Those caught doing this will be permanently sent to Azkaban (banned). 3. RPs are not allowed to contain IRL illegal activities. 4. RPs should not contain spam. This means no one word or one sentence Roleplays. They should be at least 5 sentences. 5. Stay in character at all times during an RP. 6. Be sure to title roleplays accordingly. ----EX: ----Format: [Open/Closed] Title of RP ----For closed RPs, please be sure to TAG the user(s) who are allowed to participate in the RP in the first post of the thread. 7. Start all RPs with an actual RP post. 8. Do NOT highjack someone else's thread. 9. Hagrid has summoned you to his Hut on school grounds. As you walk in the door, you notice a gigantic egg sitting on his central table. When you ask Hagrid where the egg came from, he tells you he has no idea. He also doesn't know what's inside it. While you're talking about the egg, cracks start to form on its surface. The egg is hatching! But, what can it be?
Your Task
Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to create your own and draw (by hand or digitally) a unique magical creature that is about to hatch from Hagrid's egg!

The Story
You've just returned to Hogwarts after winter break with your families. It's the weekend and there is this magical white stuff falling from the sky and sticking to the ground outside. Your professors know you've been off the grounds for a while, classes are set to start on Monday, and they encourage you to go outside and play.
Your Task
Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to write a creative and entertaining short story that involves playing outside in the snow. However, here are somethings you should know.
- Your story should be 300-900 words. - You must include these words in your story: white, snow, winter, owl, dancing, music, and angel. - All work submitted must be your own work. - Submit your entry directly to this thread by 11:59 PM EST on January 31st, 2021 - You can only submit one entry!
